As we pull into the harbour of the Isle of Capri, my head won’t stop moving this way and that to take in the sights. I have been dying to come here; it was a part of our itinerary whilst we were here, but it’s not cheap, especially not to come in this kind of style. I just can’t believe we are actually able to be here. We pull alongside other yachts, and we can see people turning their heads to see who is on the yacht we’re on.

“This is what celebs must get on the daily, right?” Jess squeals in my ear.

“I reckon so, babe. It’s craziness, and this is nothing compared to the rest of the island. Let’s go exploring!”

As much as the words leave my mouth, it’s happening on autopilot—my head can’t stop thinking about the man who abducted us and is like an enigma wrapped in a tapestry of pure knobhead!

Gino distracts my thoughts of Matteo as he drops anchor, the chain grinding against itself as It sails down into the harbour floor. He quickly jumps off the yacht, grabs all the guide ropes, and pulls them closer to the walkway on the jetty before tying them up and securing the boat like a pro.

“Is there anything we can help with, Gino?” I ask, but he mustn’t be able to hear me over the noise of the harbour and the waves slapping against the side of the yacht. He jumps back down onto it, grabbing the steps that we used to board, and secures them between the dock and yacht. Once done, he stands back and looks in our direction.

“Capri awaits you, belle donne,” Gino the charmer informs us.

I take his offer of a hand, disembark, and wait for the rest of the girls as we get off the yacht one by one.

“Don’t be late!” Gino reminds us. “We leave here at five to get back for six.”

“Sì, Gino!” I reply as start to walk off towards this absolutely beautiful island—I can’t wait to find out all its secrets…

“I call lunch first! We missed out on lunch from Lorette and I’m starving after all that sea air, even if it was only for just under an hour. The open sea made my stomach rumble,” Maya announces from the front of the pack.

We all agree, and decide to refuel before exploring.
